Very nice stay. We splurged on a deluxe room on the top floor for the quiet (no kids, no footsteps above you.) That worked great. Even a light sleeper had no problem (even the nearby train wasn't a problem for us).

The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good - included eggs, so that's better than "continental" that was advertised. They had a microwave, which was great for putting a little more heat into the "hot" items. But (here's the one Bad thing) on the days that there was a bus trip (common), breakfast was picked over. No eggs, no fruit, etc. The dining room lady just couldn't keep up with the traffic. The reason I think it's so neglectful is that management knows about the busses in advance. They make extra money from the 50 - 100 people, so should be willing to put on an extra cook or server for 2 hours to allow the guests to actually find food at the otherwise convenient breakfast buffet.

PS. the pool was fun ... you gotta try the corkscrew slide. The hot tub was spacious and the jets were super powerful! The desk staff (at least the experienced one) was wonderfully helpful. Oddly the parking spaces were too narrow. Found that throughout my Alberta travels.

Room Tip: if you can afford it, corner room on top floor overlooking 3 Sisters (mountains) is nice.

This hotel provided excellent accommodation for travelling with pets. Access to outdoors for walking our large dog was good. There was also parking for our car and trailer. The room was well equipped and the breakfast was a step up from the usual motel fare. With both hot and cold items.

This hotel provides very pleasant, comfortable and clean accommodation, and has a great location close to Banff National Park and Kananaskis County. The hotel has no restaurant, but there are plenty of possibilities to have dinner elsewhere. The hotel provides a basic buffet style breakfast.

This hotel was really a pleasant surprise. The size of the room was good and we even got a room with a balcony and fireplace. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The staff was very pleasant. the breakfast was nice, I was pleased to see they even had hot items for breakfast. we didn't have a chance to use the pool or hot tub, but they looked inviting.

Staff very helpful. They allowed us to store our extra luggage while we explored the parks for a week.the property is well cared for and very clean. Would definitely stay there again when in Canmore. it is walking distance from town and near the bike path to Banff.

Room Tip: face away from the entrance
