We've had a very plesant stay.
The B&B is well located near kananaskis country and near Banff National Park.
It's a quiet, cosy and very clean place.
We've just missed a bit of daylight, but that's just a detail, all the rest was very good!!
Bear Necessities in Canmore became a bit of a home base for us while we traveled in the Banff National Park. We first spend three nights there and liked it so much, we booked it again for two more nights on our way back to Calgary.
The room is very spacious, with a bed, a couch and a kitchenette that has a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and some other kitchen items. The place was nicely decorated and cozy. We liked looking through all the guide books, which gave us ideas of places to go.
Owners Suzanne and Garth were also really helpful giving us ideas of places to hike, and places to eat. Every morning we had a nice continental breakfast. Some days we had muffins, other days, bread and every day there was an assortment of fruit, cereal, oatmeal, breakfast bars, coffee and tea.
