Very friendly and happy staff! This stay was a Rewards Night stay and met all of our expectations. Room was very clean...even the fan in the window's heating system was quiet and didn't wake us up every time it came on. View of the mountains was spectacular!

We stayed here first in 2007 when it was a Sheraton. We decided to try again in 2012 even though it had changed hands. We were not disappointed. We asked for a mountain view and were given a great room with a vaulted ceiling and huge picture window on the top floor (we paid a basic price). It is a short walk over the highway into Canmore but that does mean it is quiet. There is a small hot tub but not with much of a view. The restaurant is really good but lacks atmosphere as hardly anyone seems to use it which is a shame. The staff were very friendly. We would return.

This was our third time staying in Canmore, and the third hotel we have visited.
We stayed here based on the good ratings we had read on the Tripadvisor website and we were not disappointed. The hotel is nice, new and modern, the beds were comfy, rooms were nice and spacious, the shower was awesome and great views from the window.
It would be nice if there was a breakfast option to be included in the stay which has been the case at the other hotels we stayed at in Canmore. And, the walls are a little thin, we could hear the TV through the wall and then the cleaners in the morning.
Overall though great place.

On our way to Revelstoke and decided to break the trip with an overnight in Canmore. The Holiday Inn is easy to find from the highway and not far from the town centre. We were upgraded to a King suite with a nice sitting area separated from the bedroom with a fridge and microwave - spacious, clean, and modern - T a very reasonable price. The front desk staff (Analyn in particular) were so welcoming and helpful even charging my phone for me as I had forgotten my charger. It is a nice quiet spot away from the town centre but still close enough to access the services and restaurants. Seems family friendly and there were some corporate groups here too.
