Our first experience to a B & B and it was more than we expected.
Upon reserving a room that without our knowledge was under renovations we were upgraded to another room by the owners choice. The rooms were tastefully decorated and with a country feeling.
The breakfasts are served to us in an elegant room with a mountain view and little bit of animal nature out the window. They were delicious and most filling that there was no need for having lunch. Conversation was never dull with knowledge of the area offered to us by both Tammy & Peter.
Being that we were taking a trip for my husbands 40th birthday and also our first trip in 19 years, the Lady Macdonald couldn't have been any better of a place to stay.

We look forward to returning one day.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Lady Macdonald Inn, and it was by far the most enjoyable part of our trip to the Rockies. The owners, Tammy and Peter are wonderful. The breakfasts are wonderful, and tastefully decorated. The Inn is beautiful and our room had amazing views. We loved the fireplace and the lovely porch. I have had the opportunity to travel quite often, and my experience at the Lady Macdonald Inn was beyond all expectation. The front desk staff were all helpful and knowledgable about the area, and Peter was able to recommend several hiking trails for us to enjoy. We also enjoyed the tempting tea tray and biscuits set out each afternoon!

I would recommend staying at the Inn. The service is excellent, the staff is wonderful, and the views are amazing. I have stayed at other bed and breakfasts and the Lady Macdonald Inn has been the most enjoyable. We look forward to returning next summer!

Our room was fine, comfortable bed and nice enough bathroom. The breakfast service left something to be desired. The hotel is right by the rail track and main road (as, of course, all the hotels on that strip are - although it is a “slow speed” road) but it was quite quiet during the night.

Once again we had a wonderful stay at the Lady Macdonald! It was quiet, peaceful and the new linens on the bed were outstanding. We enjoyed a quiet evening in front of the wood buring fireplace - just the two of us (one of the benefits to going in the off season!). We had stayed a couple of years ago and were pleased. Since then the management has changed, but we continued to be very satisfied with the atmosphere and service. the hot served breakfast was amazing! Three cheese omlette. Very good. So was the coffee!! For the price (136.00 tax paid) great value for the night and the breakfast. We will be back and are considering making it an every 6 week experience.
