“Average stay, good location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

We only spent one night on our way through to Canada's west coast, the location was great, as it allowed us to do some walking to find somewhere to eat, and a bit of exercise afterwards. Room was clean, but for those who have any trouble climbing stairs, try to avoid the upper floor. Nearby restaurant was good though a bit noisy inside.

Room Tip: Avoid the upper floor if you have troubles with stairs.

Nice clean rooms with coffee and tea making facility, tv and bathroom. Top helpful receptionist who
provided us with additional tea and coffee at no charge. Everything in Canmore is in walking distance. Good value for the money.

Spent two nights, the rooms were large, comfy and clean. The staff in the office were friendly and informative. This seemed to apply to several different folks at various times. They even provided bear spray and a bell for our early morning hikes. They took the time to recommend and warn us about good and not so positive spots. This is a great choice in Canmore.

Great location right on the main street but quiet. It's an older looking hotel with a key on a keyring but it's modern. The rooms are big, the beds are comfy, modern TV and modern bathroom. Try the second floor facing the street and you get a beautiful view of the mountains. Nice pretty flowers on the balcony. Friendly and very helpful staff. Canmore is a beautiful little town with lots of neat shops.

Room Tip: Rooms on the second floor have beautiful views of the mountains and beautiful flowers on the balcony...

Nice large, clean rooms and a good location, but, the staff were amazing - the receptionists went out of their way to offer advice on where to go & what to see - they ensured we got the absolute most from our stay in Canmore. Canmore itself is a lovely town, much less 'touristy' than Banff but having everything we needed. It has great walks and drives out and this motel is well situated to make the most of it all.

Spent one night at this very nice little hotel....woman at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating.....room was very clean and comfortable with a lot of little extra touches that you don't see elsewhere.....a small negative is that there is no elevator.......our room was on the third floor so we had to lug our belongings up a few flights of stairs......this was a small price to pay for the spectacular view that we received.....hotel is located right downtown Canmore and within walking distance of everything....we would definitely return and recommend to everyone!

We stayed here for two nights in a room next to the laundry (ground level), so the view was not so great as for other reviewers, but it was clean and everything you need was there (fridge, coffee maker, AC, etc.). We had two queens which were quite comfortable. The location of the motel is just great. You can easily walk to nice restaurants, bars, cafes or whatever you feel like. The staff is outstanding. You directly got the feeling of being welcome. They helped us with good restaurant advices, bear spray and a wonderful advice for a day trip (thanks again Anastasia). Our little complaints with regard to some issues in the room were fixed promptly. So, overall a great stay and we would highly recommend the Motel.
