My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Stoneridge in Canmore. We spent 7 nights there in July. We had a great mountain view suite with a full kitchen which was perfect for our stay. Although there wasn't much to do at the resort itself, it was a great place to call home while we toured Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise and more. We bought groceries the day we got there and were able to cook every night and have our meals at the breakfast bar or the dining room table which was great. After the wedding, we were very tired, so it was great to be able to get movies for free and have a spacious living room and bedroom to just put our feet up and relax for a few days. The mountain view from the balcony was amazing and it was so nice to have our morning coffee out there. The complimentary BBQ was also a nice treat. We visited the on site cafe for breakfast the first morning we were there before we bought groceries, and it was delicious, but we found it very expensive so we chose to buy breakfast food to make ourselves for the week. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, but we found that it wasn't very private and would have liked a more secluded and quiet place to hangout. Overall, great room and good resort, but if we didn't have lots of day trips planned it would have been a bit boring.
