We are visiting our Son in Calgary and he and his girlfriend took us to Rundle Cliffs Mountain Lodge for an overnight stay. The Lodge is quite impressive. We were in a relatives suite so I am not sure of the cost of renting but the units are very nice and appointed quite well. You are within waking distance of the town and there certainly is lots to do. We really enjoyed our short stay and if you are looking for accommodations in Canmore, I would highly recommend Rundle Cliffs Mountain Lodge.

It was a perfect girls getaway Dec. 2-4/2011 and the Rundle Cliffs Lodge was an amazing location! Many oohs and aahs - not only with the breathtaking scenery but at the unit - from the complimentary locally made soaps to the top of the line appliances to the gas fireplace...it was such a relaxing and fun getaway that we cannot wait to go back! Won't even try anywhere else!

My hubby and I stayed at the Lodge for a week in the beginning of August to celebrate our honeymoon. (August 8-15, 2011) We had spent hours and hours looking online for the perfect place to stay in the Canmore/Banff area and finally found Rundle Cliffs. We booked it that night! We were very pleased with the service when we checked in... the lady was very cheerful, helpful, and just made us feel welcome. The suite was gorgeous! Lots of room and beautifully decorated! Very quiet surroundings and the grounds are very nicely landscaped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The suite was impeccably cleaned too, which I really appreciated!!!!

The only slightly negative thing I can say is that when we booked our week-long stay, we selected staying in a one bedroom suite on the top floor with vaulted ceilings. We did this for a reason... my hubby and I live in a basement suite and we normally hear the footsteps and noises of our neighbors above us and we wanted to get away from that for our honeymoon. However, when we arrived, we were given a two bedroom suite on the second floor. This was a bit surprising, but we didn't think anything of it. About 3 days into our honeymoon, the suite directly above us became occupied and we began to hear loud footsteps and general noise from time to time. Not enough to be disruptive by any means, but just enough to be a little irritating, because of the fact that we had booked the top-floor to avoid this. So, all I can say is that if you book a specific suite, be prepared that you may not get it. But for anyone who doesn't mind a bit of noise, it's not a big deal at all.
