Staying at Mary-Jane’s and Dave’s Mountain Lily B&B was bliss.
We needed a comfortable base for our hikes in the Banff, Lake Louise and Kananaskis Country area, and were very glad to have chosen Canmore and Mountain Lily B&B.
The house is in a quiet residential part of town and offers great views of the Three Sisters and other surrounding mountains.
The room we stayed in had all the amenities one could reasonably wish for, and a really great shower.
Getting to the Canmore shops and restaurants is very easy, and the main road that brings you to the Trans-Canada Highway or to the adventurous gravel Spray Trail is literally at the front door.
The best thing about Mountain B&B, however, is the lovely couple managing it.
Mary-Jane and Dave are extremely knowledgeable on outdoor activities in the greater Canmore area (or perhaps even any area in Canada), and their stories are both entertaining and educational.
Pay special attention when Dave uses the phrase ‘map time’ as you are in for a special treat on where to hike and where not.
What’s even better, the two of them whip up an extremely tasteful and wholesome breakfast.
Mary-Jane and Dave gave us the best possible start of our trip through The Rockies and BC.
