I have stayed at B&Bs around the world and the Mountain Lily is easily in my top 10. MJ and Dave are the types of people that make B&B stays worth it -- they are welcoming, interesting, and have a wealth of knowledge of the area between them. We stayed in their basement suite, which included a bedroom, private bathroom, sitting area, a TV/fitness area, and a kitchenette (perfect for making trail lunches). The view was spectacular and breakfast was huge and healthy. Overall, a really lovely weekend. Hope to be back soon!

We have recently returned from our second visit to mountain Lily and i can say with all honesty it’s the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are excellent, top quality furniture / fittings, with a view to die for. While in Canmore we got married and MJ and Dave kindly allowed us to use their Garden to have the service, which was stunning and i will always be thankfully for the generosity they showed to us.
MJ and Dave are fantastic hosts, part of the fun of our stay was breakfast, as we had a chance to talk to them both about our plans and they would advise us on where was best to go, as well as providing maps etc. You will need to bring a big appetite to mountain Lily as the breakfast are wonderful, and vast, if you speak to Dave nicely he may even do you some waffles ( which were beyond mere words) In short if you want a spotlessly clean, well appointed, beautifully located accommodation with superior host you will not find better.

modern & very clean up to date accommodations,
private entry, off street parking, and great views from the room.
Breakfast was out of this world good! Quiet neighborhood, with
walking trails close by. 5 minute drive to town.
Host & Hostess are very knowledgable and can recommend great
places to hike, eat, drive, and sight see.
If we return to this area, we most certainly will stay again.

This B & B has luxury fittings and everything you would need and I'm sure if you needed something different Mary Jane and Dave would find it for you.
The setting is wonderful and Canmore is a fantastic place, much better than the crowded and touristy Banff.

We did a 2,500 mile round trip, with Canmore being our first stop, and we had a nostalgic stop in Canmore on our final leg as it was so restful and inspiring. Walk along the river, take a trip into Kanskis country, eat at Rocky Mountain Flatbread, if you've walked off your very good breakfast!
