This is a good option if you can't afford the high prices charged by hotels in Jasper during peak season. The hotel was a good price, clean, and quiet. The continental breakfast contained many items, including small omelets and other egg-based dishes which could be microwaved, and were really quite good. Also included French toast and pancakes which could be toasted, along with the usual suspects (toast, yogourt, etc.).
The hot tub was quite hot and the pool was really cold. The kids barely spent any time in the pool because of that.
Be aware that Hinton is a 45-minute drive to Jasper townsite. When booking the hotel, my friend was told that the hotel is only 15 minutes to Jasper - that's the time to the park gates, not to the townsite.
Located on highway 16. Despite this, the room was fairly quiet.
