This is North America's first Aboriginal owned and operated winery. It's part of a impressive vacation complex with hotels, restaurants, apartments, golf course, etc. We went on the winery tour which was an informative and entertaining introduction to the story of the Osoyoos Indian Band, the development of Nk"Mip property and winery and, of course, the Nk'Mip wines. There's also a patio in the winery with good lunches and a nice view. Best of all was the bottle of their 2008 Merlot which we enjoyed at a dinner with friends afterwards. Well worth a visit!
