“Excellent winery in the South Okanagan”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2011

This is North America's first Aboriginal owned and operated winery. It's part of a impressive vacation complex with hotels, restaurants, apartments, golf course, etc. We went on the winery tour which was an informative and entertaining introduction to the story of the Osoyoos Indian Band, the development of Nk"Mip property and winery and, of course, the Nk'Mip wines. There's also a patio in the winery with good lunches and a nice view. Best of all was the bottle of their 2008 Merlot which we enjoyed at a dinner with friends afterwards. Well worth a visit!

Tasted wine at the wine bar and then had lunch on the patio. Service was excellent and the food was very good. Definitely would recomend a stop here.

“Informative tour and great tastings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2011

We took the tour ($7.50 per person) and at this time of year we were the only ones on it so it was very nice to be able to ask as many questions as we wanted! We learned a lot about the NK'Mip Cellars, the NK'Mip people and also the Okanagan wineries in general. After the tour we got to sample quite a few wines. The Riesling was very tasty, but the highlight was the icewine, which we thought was delicious so we bought a bottle (very nicely packaged).

Was given great outstanding service and had the gift certificates sent down to Vancouver via mail. The process was very enjoyable and was treated very nicely by Evan.

“New, Fun, Unique, Nice Patio, GR8 views, ZEN-like experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2008

Went during Fall Wine Fest - Had 9am Wine Breakfast - informative & fun class @ wine paired with foods. GR8 way 2 start the day! Awesome meritage - surprised their Reisling was dry! Fruity but also refreshing w/apple & citrus. Luved the Pinot Blanc as well, esp. considering i am not a white wine drinker! Beautiful grounds, outdoor bistro patio (closed winter).
