Stayed here for 1 night while visiting Osoyoos and the lake.
Room was pretty small, really outdated and not very clean (carpet seemed to be there for ages; television about 20 years old).
As the air-condition seem to have been installed later on, there has been a huge gap between the wall and the machine which has been filled provisorily with lots of materials like plastic bags, paper etc. but, however, didn't really block the noise from outside so that we could hear every car passing the street next to the hotel as if there had been no wall at all.

All in all - a bad experience and overpriced as well. Wouldn't stay here again. One of the worst accomodations in our 3-weeks-trip to Western Canada.

My family have been coming to Osoyoos every summer since the 1960's and for the last 20 years or so we have stayed at the Poplars Motel. The managers (Frank and Cindy) are the very best and have become our good friends over the years. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else or vactioning anywhere else. It is like our second home and we love Osoyoos. The lake is shallow and warm for the little one's, the beach is safe and we love the barbecue pit. A good place to truly unwind and forget the rest of the world.

Have been going there for 19 years. Everything is positive except for the ever increasing problem s with the pub next door. Started going there in 91 and go back every year.It has everything we want . We like the setup of the hotel on the beach with the grass sand and water right below our door. The boat is at anchor right in front of the hotel The bbq setup and the parking lot all good. Great view . The hotel Managers are great. Thanks Frank n Cindi.
On the negative is the problems ever increasing with the pub next door. Although it is a nice pub "The Sage" next door has the inherited problem of youth n alcohol . I will not spend another Friday night on the long week-end again. The noise, swearing, urinating and mess of booze bottles is a turn off. U must run your AC unit on tho help drown out the noise which really helps most of the time. Leaving your window open is not an option, the noise will get you. Just keep away from the July 1st n Aug 1st long weekends and enjoy the hot sun there.

Friendly, clean, reasonable rates, close to everything but just far enough away to give you privacy from main hwy. Great beach well taken care of. We stayed in the "shoulder season" rates were so good we almost cancelled the rest of our short trip to just here. Very quiet no summer kids.
