“small, beautiful and informative, snake show was great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

We took our preschoolers to this centre and everyone enjoyed ourselves. First off the grounds, exhibits and building are beautiful as well as informative. But our preschoolers were fascinated by a black bear pelt inside the building, and the idea of there being local snakes! We were apprehensive about taking them to the snake show (a powerpoint presentation about local snakes that teaches you how to recognize them and respond to a bite, and also some live snakes) because we weren't sure if they would be able to sit through it. But they just managed it, mostly because the lady doing the presentation was great, and her fun physical style of presenting helped the kids stay focused. Highly recommend.

Thank you for your informative and complimentary review. We take a special pride in teaching the young and old alike. We appreciate that your class liked the snake presentation, and our Interpreters are more than happy to change up their teaching style to accommodate to specific age groups. Thank you again!!!

We are happy that you enjoyed our Centre. Osoyoos does get quite hot in the summertime and our desert can sure make you feel it! Thank you for your kind comment and we hope to see you again sometime in the future!

“Highlight of our Canadian Road Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

Our Canadian Road Trip plans were altered, resulting in the fortuitous opportunity of spending time at the Nk'Mip Center. We took time in the centre (building) watching, reading, listening before joining a tour around the ground (my father-in-law infirmity didn't prevent him joiing us as he joined us by travelling in the Golf Cart). TY Bob for your sharing, wisdom & passion for your people, history & culture.
As well as the Centre there is also the Campground (where we had lunch by the lake) & Winery (where we had some tasting and savoured afternoon tea with elevated lake/valley views).
A wonderful way to spend a day.
