“Li'l taste of Grind!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

Grey rock hiking trail is a half an hour hiking trail from Deep Cove marina. It is like the first quarter of Grouse Grind in Grouse Mountain, North Vancouver. There's a lot of bridges and tiny streams... even toddlers are hiking with their parents, lol! The finishing is the Deep cove Marina Lookout! What a view! It's a Baden Powell hiking trail. You need to google it so that you'll see the entrance (it's not obvious to the first timers).

Deep Cove is a really lovely place to visit. Very pretty little park with a fantastic view of the water.

“Too cramped a community, not worth it”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

Too many people, too many cars, too little for a visitor to enjoy. Deep Cove used to be charming, now it is just another pain in the butt neighborhood that has grown too fast and tries to cram too many people into too small an area. Worse, once you fight your way thru perma-gridlock (we visited on a late weekday morning in May...hate to think what it is like in summer!) there is nothing to do. Only a handful of restaurants, one cofee shop (that you can't park near because of the congrestion) and really unremarkable shops. Unfortunately, not worth the drive.

“Great hiking just off Panorama Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

I went hiking a month ago in pretty Deep Cove. Although it was raining, we still enjoyed a good hike. The trail head for Baden Powell, a very popular hike and our destination, is a short walk from the park. http://www.deepcovebc.com/deepcovebcparkstrails.html

We were with a group of young people and did a 2 hour return, hike. The scenery was beautiful!! We came out onto a rock face that overlooked Horseshoe Bay and the surrounding area. Awesome for pictures!

The website included in the review will give you all the details. Great way to spend a day!

“Favorite place!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

My husband an I went for our first date to wonderfulDeep Cove and that was in 1958 and everytime I come back to BC I visit here. Even though my husband passed on in 1999 I feel the wonderful memories of when we used to come here at least once a week.
