This is one of the prettiest spots on the North Shore. It has something to offer in all four seasons. Please read the warnings on the signs if you are a first time user of the park. As beautiful as it is , is as dangerous as it can be. Canyon views are best behind the protective fencing. Enjoy the trails and stay on all of the marked trails unless you have a trail map. 25 minutes away from the city but many miles if you get lost. Mother nature at her finest. Pay attention and you will see lots of different animals. not unusual to see Black Bears, Racoons, squirrels, Coyotes, Crows & Ravens and the shy deer population. Enjoy. plan on spending a couple of hours here as there are some parks displays on the surroundings and many trails to hike.
