Although the Lonsdale Quay Market is rather small, it's a nice place with a good variety of shops and booths. It was more like a Whole Foods or an upscale grocery that market like Pike Place or Granville Island. We loved the food booths - very affordable, especially for breakfast. Nice views all around. We stayed at the Lonsdale Quay Hotel, which is above the market. Nice parking garage (fees) and an interesting change from downtown Vancouver. Much calmer and quieter, especially in the evenings, when we sat outside on the boardwalk and watched the sunset, admired the nearby yachts, watched the float planes coming and going. The Vancouver Seabus is next door - extremely handy for going back and forth to downtown.
