Ok, so a good location, right across from a bus exchange, and with good parking, fairly nice rooms, free internet (very slow and intermittent), and a bar, restaurant and liquor store in the same building. And good staff.
Stay in a 'weekly discount' room, which is about 37 dollars a night, so not totally backpacker cheap, and in a room number lower than about 114 or so and you'll be directly above the bar area. On a friday and saturday there are LIVE BANDS and your room will literally pound you, making sleep or any other activity totally impossible.
The rest of the week there's also a fair chance of very loud music from below, not quite as loud, but still enough to prevent sleep and give you a headache.
This is unfortunate, because other than that I would recommend it. The noise from the live bands was ridiculous and the staff (who are very nice) actually put me in another room for those 2 nights free of charge.
Beware the lower room numbers! Beware Friday & Saturdays!
