“Older .. but still nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2012

Stayed here for 2 nights, and found the beds comfortable, the room smelled fresh and appealing. Nice outdoor pool, conveniently located a short distance off the Lions Gate Bridge. Staff were nice, I don't think I would quite rate it a 4 .. but it's not just a 3 either.

Definitely an older style motel that has been updated.

We were visiting in BC for a long weekend.
Unless its great location and relatively not THAT old interior, this Inn (a fancy word for a Motel) would be somewhere between horrible to poor...
We had to accept Smoking room since that was the only availability. OMG!!! it was HORRIBLE. The real frustration is that the management doesn't even try to vent or spray the rooms with odor removal. It felt like swimming in ashtray. I was looking to move to near by locations but they were all sold out. it was really hard to sleep since the smell is EVERYWHERE, including mattresses and cushions. I did find a near by location called North Vancouver Inn or something like that. It seems to be much newer and is 100% smoke free. Obviously the downtown location are superior but for some odd reason prices are almost doubled than past years... so this above location is a very good option.

Room Tip: Non-Smoking ONLY!

But the rooms and bathrooms were very clean, the beds were super comfortable, room was spacious. On the negative side, there was no fridge in the room, no breakfast included, and the guy at the night check-in was not so friendly. But staff next day were great, and we even got a discount for staying there for 3 nights. But overall, taking into account how comfortable were the beds and how high are prices in other Vancouver hotels, it was a good stay. Would recommend.

If you are a smoker they have a room for you upstairs. The front desk staff is not the friendliest but the rooms were spacious and average, great location and price considering the Canadian dollar is a better rate than the U.S dollar.

This was a good hotel room for the value. We paid $105 (plus taxes) and were pleasantly surprised. The beds were very comfortable and the shower head was fantastic. Although this is a motel, it had a 70% hotel feel to it. I would go back.

The majority of the reviews are good for this motel (they call them suites, but, really a motel)

I agree in the most part, the motel rooms themselves were clean and nice. The accommodation was reasonably priced I guess; $100 per night (including tax)

Minor negatives; put us in a double room when we asked for queen, we booked with another party and they said it was too hard to put us near each other, coffee maker had a layer of brown, coffee cups were thin plastic (not made for hot water) & half the bathroom was in the bedroom.

These are minor issues and if I were in the area and didn't have much money I would consider staying again. You get what you pay for and I would recommend this to anyone on a budget.

We stayed here one night in a king suite for $159 with our kids! We had privacy and our own balcony which we could easily all play on. The pool was also great and the service was very friendly. Rooms were clean, and a bit outdated but a very good value for the price.
