Owner description: Follow in the footsteps of the millions who have crossed 450 feet (137m) across and 230 feet (70m) above Capilano River on Capilano Suspension Bridge since 1889. The park offers more than just the bridge - its surrounding 27 acres celebrate nature, history and culture in unique and thrilling ways. No more so than with its newest attraction, CLIFFWALK. Cliffwalk hangs for a heart-stopping 213m (700ft) and reaches 91m (300ft) high. This stunning walkway, made partly of glass, hugs the granite cliffside as it offers a panoramic view of the thriving rainforest and the canyon far below. On Treetops Adventure guests venture from one magnificent old growth Douglas-fir to another on a series of seven elevated suspension bridges, reaching as high as 100 feet (30m), for a squirrel’s eye view of the forest. Guides, signage and interactive human and natural history exhibits throughout the park help guests in their understanding of delicate rainforest ecosystems and the sustainability of this precious environment. All this only minutes from downtown Vancouver.

“Wow!! What a view!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

I checked out many reviews before booking this tour while staying in Vancouver and I'm so glad we chose it! The place is awesome. If you have a fear of heights, this isn't the place for you. The suspension bridge is 450' long and 230' high! It sways and bounces according to the wind and number of people who are on it with you. There's an awesome canopy walk through the trees and a cliffwalk that stands out away from the mountain in a semi-curve shape. There are also education displays including totem poles, tour guides, food and, of course, shopping for the gals & kids. We took this tour in conjunction with the Grouse Mountain tour and it made a great day. Vancouver itself is a beautiful area with lots of attractions.

“A thrill!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

As described by many, this is a very exciting place. It takes only 10 to 15 minutes to get there from downtown Vancouver on a free shuttle. You're advised to buy the tickets before entering the bus, it saves time later. The whole visit can take around 2 to 3 hours, unless you prefer to take it very easy and spend more time there, eating or sitting. The active part is possible in a couple of hours. The crossing of the bridge itself is a bit scary, only because it moves with the movements of the people on it, but it feels completely safe! The walk around treetops is very beautiful. You can take wonderful photos there. I strongly recommend the place.

“Fun for all”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

Enjoy nature, with a bit of fun, and education too. Great for all ages, though limited usefulness for those with mobility issues. Complimentary Bus from Warf area makes it easy to get there and back without a car.

“Beautiful a little scarey but truely unique! A must do!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

I called ahead before going to the park as I was concerned about purchasing a ticket on line and didn't have access to a printer but didn't want to wait on along line. The weather was a little rainy so they assured me the line would be small so no need tp prepurchase tickets, it was, but later the sun came out and there were hordes of people, so go early even if it is raining a little. This is a wonderful, unforgetable experience. The beauty, the trees, the guides the bridges it is all an amazing experience well worth the price of $32. We drove up by car and had to pay for parking so if you can take the free shuttle from town look on their website lots of pickup locations by hotels. You will thoroughly enjoy this wonderful park.

“So cool!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

The Bridge is so neat (but scary!) The Walkway is another example of modern engineering and it's a beautiful walk over the river. The grounds were beautifully manicured!
