Owner description: Only 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, allow 2 - 3 hours for your visit to Vancouver's iconic Capilano Suspension Bridge, hanging 450 feet (137m) across and 230 feet (70m) above Capilano River. The park offers more than just the bridge. Its surrounding 27 acres celebrate nature, history and culture in unique and thrilling ways. No more so than with the newest attraction, CLIFFWALK. Cliffwalk hangs for 213m (700ft) and reaches 91m (300ft) high, hugging the granite cliffside and offering a panoramic view of the thriving rainforest and canyon far below. On Treetops Adventure venture from one magnificent old growth Douglas-fir to another on a series of seven elevated suspension bridges, reaching as high as 110 feet (33m), for a squirrel's eye view of the forest. Guides, signage and interactive exhibits throughout the park help you in your understanding of rainforest ecosystems and their sustainability.

“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

Caught the free shuttle bus to the bridge. Got there early so crowds were not bad. Good for photos. By time we left it was very crowded. Loved the entire experience. Definitely number one on our list of things to do in Vancouver.

“A Cracking Way To Spend A Day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

Situated no more than 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver, the Capilano Suspension Bridge and the surrounding Treetops Adventure are a must see attraction when visiting the area.

The park comprises lots of woodland walks and raised bridges and pathways winding their way through some stunning scenery. They main centre piece of the attraction is the 450 ft long by 230ft high suspension bridge.

As someone with a fear of heights, any old suspension bridge would be a big ask. This monster on the other hand required a change of underwear post crossing! The great thing is once you've crossed the bridge, you must also do it in reverse in order to get home. 2nd time was much easier, and was great to be able to look around at the stunning views.

Even now I beam with pride every time I stumble upon my "I made it!" certificate!

And excellent day out for kids of all ages!

“spectacular”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

I can`t understand why this isn`t rated as the best attraction in the Vancouver area. The treetop walk is amAZING! Walking in amongst trees that are almost 1,000 years old should be a humbling experience. The layout of the walks, the bridge, and the lookout point (yikes! don`t look down!) and the water gardens are beautifully done, informative, and well worth the time and effort. The cafe and gift-shop even better than the usual tourist traps. Thoroughly enjoyable!

“Great but expensive”

We did it mainly for the treehouse as we could have done the
Lynn Canyon suspension bridge. It was expensive though
