This is a well maintained short 18 hole course (under 7000 yards). The course is pretty much flat and the layout relies on water and sand to make the holes challenging. This is definitely a target golf course.
We had a pleasant round; the holes can be scenic though a couple are under high voltage lines (the price of proximity to the city) or next to the freeway. I was still playing the ball I started with at the 15th hole. Trees and foliage are mature.
Course conditions were good for October, but we found the greens inconsistent in speed, but the course had recently been punched. The ground is sandy and so the feel was something I had to get used to. Pace of play was great for a Saturday afternoon and there were times we felt like we were alone on the course. We occasionally saw the group in front of us on the green as we teed off (though never waited at a par 3) and never saw anyone behind us.
There is a well stocked pro shop and restaurant though we did not eat there. The course does weddings and other events.
