“Expensive hotel with no amenities”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night as our plane arrived late into Vancouver and we took off for our cruise the following day. The night stay was incredibly expensive and nothing was included - no wifi, no breakfast, no gym, etc. Everything was an extra fee. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and the prices on their menu were extremely overpriced. $4 for 2 slices of toast?? That is crazy! The room was OK, decent size, and the bathroom was really nice (separate glass shower and separate deep soaker tub). It was just so expensive that we will not be choosing this hotel to stay at again.

Pre-cruise, my wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights. Airport shuttle service, which comes in handy. There really isn't very much near the hotel - one decent restaurant across the street. The hotel restaurant and bar were not particularly exceptional. The lobby itself was not spacious at all, not a good place to met and greet.

We did get upgraded to the club level, which served a very solid continental breakfast, and had soda and snacks in the PM. The rooms were fine, clean and comfortable, and were well insultated from any airport noise.

I did get locked out of the 4th floor health club when I visited the patio near the pool. I fortunately found a staircase from an adjacent apartment building that lead me back to the street level, but this could be marked a bit more clearly, or they could put a key card reader somewhere nearby.

The key plus was the value. This cost me less than $140 per night, while hotels downtown not nearly as nice were going for $220. Also, we took a Grey Line tour during the day which picked us up at the hotel, and we took the Sky Train back to the airport, where we caught the free shuttle. Since cabs need to be pre-arranged and they are expensive to get downtown (around $40), this was a pretty good alternative.

All in all, a very solid, if unspectacular value play.

Room Tip: The club upgrade was a real bonus.

We stayed here for two nights. We chose this Weston as it was less expensive than the other one in town. The property was very nice, but far from the downtown. It took at least 30 minutes to drive to Stanley Park/downtown/etc. We have no complaints for the hotel at all, but just keep in mind the drive time, depending on what you are planning on doing while in town.

The hotel is next to an apartment complex, but that was not an issue for us. We used the self parking (for a fee) and had no problems finding a spot. Garage was just a few steps from the front entrance.

Room was very clean and new. Bathroom had separate shower and garden tub. Very comparable to the other Westins.

Room Tip: Fine hotel, but longer drive to downtown (many stoplights on the way).

I attended our TPI annual company conference held at the Westin Wall Centre Vancouver Airport. My accommodation was for four nights. The hotel was exceptional. My room was spacious and very comfortable. As I was sharing with a colleague it was important that we each had enough space to spread out and we were not disappointed. We had two sumptuous queen beds; Westin is noted for their duvet comforters and feather pillows. We both slept like babies.

For anyone travelling through Vancouver this hotel is ideally situatated and has a complimentary shuttle to the airport. A few minutes walk takes you to the Canada Line station to head downtown. The conference facility was more than capabable of handling our group of travel agents and suppliers.

Room Tip: I don't think there are any bad rooms in this hotel, but a colleague had a corner room which gav...

After a long sleepless flight, this hotel is paradise and near the airport as well.
We arrived late to the hotel and the reception staff were smily and warm even at the late hour.
Though I had left my Starwood card behind, the gentleman checking us in took the trouble to locate my account so that we could enjoy free wifi in our room.
The room was clean, comfy spacious and the beds, heavenly :).
Starwood hotels definitely have the best beds and pillows!
We had a great breakfast (though a bit pricy) the next morning before going off on our way. Wished parking is free for hotel guests though.

I flew into Vancouver on a delayed flight and so missed my connection. I unexpectedly had to find a room for the night and having stayed with the Westin at other locations I chose this wonderful place. Any staff I encountered were great and Spencer at the front desk was very helpful. The room was beautiful with floor to ceiling windows over looking the harbour/marina and an enormous bathroom. Not to mention the fantastic Westin bed! Possibly the most comfortable thing in the world.

The gym is a bit small but they use the space as best as possible with a multi use strap resistance machine capable of doing the same exercises as 10 other machines, of which there isn't room for. Also having it open at 5:30am was a plus for curing jet lag.

The regular shuttle to the airport and short walk to the skytrain keeps the hotel well linked to everything.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Thanks Wall Centre Staff

Stayed there for two nights, no amenities around the hotel as it is attached to an apartment complex. Parking is bit issue....free parking on the street is difficult as the apartment occupants park their cars on the street as well..

Hotel do offer shuttle to airport but not marked as Weston, I think it is days inn or something like that, you can call them at the airport using the hotel reservation line.

If you need some food and drinks around 11 or 10 pm...you can't walk to get some...except the burger king nearby about 10 walk...
