“Egg salad and pickles were delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2011

We stopped in after our trek to the flower pots in Fundy NP. The service was excellent, food outstanding(Balsimic Vinagerette out of this world) and the owner, Joyce, came and sat down with us and chatted for a while. It turns out she had 7 children, has 12 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. If people would do this more often restaurants would be more fun to visit!!!

This place was recommended to us and they didn't dissapoint.
Everyones food was delicious...... but the Chowder !!!! Oh my Goodness !!!!! THE CHOWDER.... If you eat here donnot pass up the chowder. We ate chowder all over the maritimes and this one was the absolute best. The rolls were the best as well. Well worth the trip.

Nice sized 2 br cabin with everything we needed. It sounded like the resort had all sorts of activities, but all we saw were the horses. Close to Hopewell Rocks. Restaurant had slow service and average food.

What a wonderful place to stay. We looked for a place to stay for our New Brunswick travel section and what a wonderful experience. Great cabin, nice facilities friendly staff piece privacy and quiet. Who could ask for more.
We plan to come back to a the area and this place is on our prime list!

Room Tip: Ask for family cabin.

Service: Family-run business that provides friendly, attentive service.

Room: Very far off the road, so very quiet and no bright lights. We shared one two-bedroom cabin between two couples, and it was very comfortable. Lots of couches, a kitchen and a deck from which you can watch the sun set. On our first night the humidifier was left running, which was very loud. We mentioned this to the manager the next morning and she switched it off right away.

Location: About 50 minutes from Moncton and 20 minutes from Hopewell Rocks, fairly picturesque drives. We also discovered a fantastic art studio on a small road between Broadleaf and Hopewell Rocks - Albert Co Pottery Company, which is worth a visit as they make their own clay from local resources.

Amenities: Broadleaf seems to double as a kids’ camp. There was at least one camp going on while we were there, but this didn’t affect our stay at all. The property is so big that you cannot really hear them and they went to meals at different times to us.

Tip: The jam/jelly served at the restaurant’s breakfast is just delicious and is home-made by a family member. We enjoyed guessing the flavors of each jam at breakfast. By our final morning we guessed 50% right - including pumpkin jam. We also enjoyed taking long walks through the property in the morning and evening - there are beautiful photo opportunities at every turn. ..but be prepared for mosquitoes.

Recently booked cottages for family gathering. Five branches of the family, so very hard to get everyone on the same page. Grandparents had to drop out as they were not aware it was on Good Friday and felt inappropriate to partcipate in a full blown celebration.
Respectfully asked to cancel,THREE weeks in advance, on an off-season date, and owners would not waive deposit of $150.00.
Seems a tad harsh to us. Suggest others beware of giving deposits.

This is a gem of a place! We stayed in one of the cottages and it was perfect for our family. Great value all round - the place was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything to make our own meals. We did treat ourselves to the restaurant one night and it was wonderful as well. I would highly recommend this for families, there was lots to do and it is so close to both Hopewell Rocks and Alma.
