This is a spacious restaurant converted from a barn. There is a small bar in the foyer with small tables and chairs. There are benches outside in the grounds both in front and to the rear of the building. A marquee is sometimes located in the rear grounds.
The food is good and Wednesday evenings is a carvery.
Inside the dining areas are split into two either side of a very large arch. Staff are attentive and provide good service.
The management have recently taken over and refurbished the Tydd Gote Inn. This appears to be doing well.
The Old Barn would benelt from a spring clean and minor refurbishment. The lamp shades are scorched and in need of replacement. The large victorin style lamp post in the from entrance is broken and needs replacing - minor points that detract from the lovely building.
