“Great stay at Corrigal”

My Wife and I stayed at four B&B's on our recent visit to Scotland, and although the other three were OK, Corrigall really stood out.The house was about ten years old, but looked brand new, and was spotless. We had the family room upstairs although there was only the two of us, and it was absoloutly stunning with an interesting shape.The bathroom was large and bright with a really hot, strong shower.Breakfast was served in the Conservatory, and was unhurried, with fresh local berrys to start, followed by whatever was requested.The house is idealy situated for Thurso,Wick, John O'groats ,Castle of Mey, and all Ferry Ports.There is a good Pub within walking distance that serves first class evening meals between 6pm and 8pm, but get there early! We cannot praise Corrigal enough. Peter and Beryl Wright, Bedford

My Mother and I flew into Glasgow a few days in advance of our tour in order to attempt to make it to Orkney to see a few sites. We could not believe our good fortune at having been lead to the Corrigall B&B. We've been sure to tell anyone who will listen how impeccably spotless the room [and entire home] was, how beautifully furnished, and about how the delicious home-cooked breakfast was better than we encountered at any of the fine hotels where we stayed during the remainder of our trip. But the part we love to tell most, is how lovely the proprietors are. We could not have found lovelier or more gracious individuals on the face of this earth! I can not say enough in terms of a recommendation. It was a truly wonderful experience. Many thanks and gratitude to the Fletts. I haven't yet downloaded my photos from my camera, but if I can add them later I will.
