Okay the inn was nice, nice people and friendly service. The caravan park caretaker was the exception, some people just get a little bit of power and it goes straight to their head, this guy was a complete control freak. The park was empty but we still couldn't choose our own site, so we got jammed beside the huge gas storage container next to the BP in front of the Stuart Hwy with the roadtrains going passed all night and the train track on the other side of that. Also backing on to the air con which serviced the pub. I,m a light sleeper and when I told him that he just shrugged and said I'll be right, if we wanted to spend another $10 he'll put us around the back. Just because we had a tent we were treated like 2nd class people. We got our site fee refunded and camped out at the ARSS showgrounds, cheaper amd quieter.
