“Best to avoid this restaurant.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

The location and the patio are great. But...
The waitress was pushy and not helpful, could not answer the simplest questions about the menu, tried too hard to steer our choices of food and drinks... Even getting a bottle of sparkling water turned out to be impossible - we were told they only serve "organic soda water which is better"... And then the food came. What was supposed to be a risotto turned out to be mushy tasteless rice, tomato salad did not have two slices of tomato that were of the comparable shape or size - seemed they chopped it with an axe - and they never brought the olive oil we asked for as it came sans dressing, etc. etc.
When it was time to pay the bill and I took out my credit card the owner (I presume) waived his hand in front of my face and said "we don't do plastic here" and walked away without answering where we could find the nearest ATM.
I have eaten here in August 2010 and don't remember having such a poor experience, to be fair, but I will definitely not come back here again and will recommend to anyone who asks to stay away.

“Overpriced - avoid!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013 via mobile

Overpriced pretentious place with Roman pillars, and with average quality meals and poor service. They also sell wine.

“You just got ripped off by the Adams family - don't go here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

Beautiful Roman looking venue. And that's where the good ends and your nightmare ride begins. The waitress who wouldn't be out of place at the horror house at Disneyland, tried to force us to eat what she decided we should have, even though we'd chosen what we wanted. Food (mussels and calamari) was average at best. After being alternatively lurched over then ignored by Uncle Festers sister we hurried to leave the place. We were slapped with a bill double the price of what we expected, and no payment by card available so we had to go to an atm. Don't go here. In fact, run as far as you can.

“AVOID!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

OK... take a look at it because the place is beautiful but that's where the "good" section ends. When my wife and I sat down and saw how prices were huge we decided to give it a try because we wanted to afford one fancier dinner during our Rab experience. However paying 10eur for 5 (five!) small sardines (pilchards), 10 more for 2dcl of house wine etc wouldn't make me sorry if those were the best sardines I ever tasted but nor them nor wine nor anything else was keeping up to those prices. Having garlic served in sunflower oil on an island full of olives is ironic. Drinking water served in a plastic bottle and paying almost 5eur for it when you get the same in a nearby local store for less than 1 is ridiculous. They asked us if we wanted bread even before we ordered anything because they were baking it right on the spot. Sure! We wanted to try that. Our bread was "baked" and served in no more than 3min having that chewing-gum-softness you get after putting old bread into a microwave. As someone already wrote: total rip off! There is absolutely no reason to make me go there again.

“Wrong fish and astronomic bill.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

We visited the place in July 2013. We ordered one appetizer (at first we got bread and then extra appetizer we didn't order, but all that was also charged), then we ordered a fish (the fish they brought wasn't the fish we ordered, we wouldn't know, but my husband is fisherman). The bill nearly knocked us down. The price was too much for the quality of the food we got. We are very angry about the rip off and you can get a lot more for a lower price somewhere else.
