“You get what you pay for”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2011

It's a very simple, small, and old school hotel.
It's $29 on weekdays and $39 on weekends. What do you want or expect? That's what you get. Odds are, if you're in Tahoe and you're looking for the cheapest place, you'll be happy here.

Its close to everything (casinos), including Harveys, which is nicer and only a few bucks more.

Guys, don't bring the ladies here.
Ladies, if you're looking for advise on whether or not to stay here, DONT.

It's cheap, and I like that the option is there. That's why I give it its rating. And it is locally owned, literally a mom and pop.

“Homey, close to everything”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2011 via mobile

We just checked out tbis morning. This is an old but homey inn. Small but close walk to everything. The owner is really nice. We will come again.

“The Worst Hotel Experience Ever! A True Roach Motel...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2010

This used to be a decent budget place to stay with a good location. Now it is extremely run down and not worth any price. Here is a list of the current features:
* Dripping Sink
* Dripping Shower that came apart and shot water every where when turned on.
* Broken heater that would not stay lit.
* No Phone
* No Clock
* Drapes falling off the rod
* Very dirty - smelled bad with dust and dirt everywhere - sinus problems.
* Mattress worn with a canyon on one side of it. Look under the mattress it has plywood in an effort to smooth out the cavernous depression.
* Sheets were old and pillows were flat.
* God-awful decor with mis-matched wallpaper peeling off the walls
* No shampoo
* Old crusty towels
* Baseboards in bathroom rotting off of the walls
* Vanity cabinets need refinishing

“run like hell!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2010

this "hotel" was simply disgusting!!!
we feared for our health on entering our rooms!!
to protect traveling souls from this soul destroying revolting shack!!!
we have travelled far and wide throughout the usa but this dark grim establishment would have provided us with foreign bodies that we didnt arrive with!!!
this puts the hoe in tahoe!!! (otherwise a stunning area of beautiful scenery)
if you value your life and that of your children run like hell!!!(sleep in your suv/bike anywhere but here!!!!
have you ever seen the film psycho??you will know what to expect if you ever enter this bates motel!!!!
it should be shut down by the californian overlords to protect the other wonderful hoteliers from the elizabeth sludge hell-tel !!!!
