“Good local Italian food; great service!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2012

A local told us to go! Very small and casual; small menu but daily specials. Fried ravioli app was delicious! Pizza and pasta very good, nice portions, nice wine list. Frank T. was an excellent host! Prices very reasonable. Just a few miles from our hotel, went early and got right in. We would definitely go back!

“Awesome Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

Wow! We've been tyring to find time to dine here and are so sorry we didn't make it sooner. Awesome Italian food. Touted as homemade and tastes it, too! All four of us had a different entree along with salad and appetizers. Everything was incredibly delicious. Our waiter was attentive and helpful - describing the various entrees in detail. Wish we'd had room for dessert as they sounded delicious. By the time we left shortly after 8 PM the place was packed. We will definitely be back.

“Should be higher with a different server.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

Came here after a lot of friends told us we needed to try this place.

We came on a Tuesday evening at 730 pm. The restaurant was about half full. Not a lot of tables but enough to keep everyone busy and you should be able to walk in unless it is a busy weekend.

They need an area by the front door that tells you to wait here until being seated. Several busboys walked by but didn't acknowledge us. A waiter from the floor motioned that he would be there shortly.

We were seated after my wife finally tracked down a waiter.

The service was poor. It appeared that they were very disorganized. A lot of people wandering around. The waiter wasn't the greatest. I don't know how much experience he has had.

Now about the food. It was very good.

We first started with a Caesar salad. Had good flavor but it lacked a little parmesan on it. That would have mellowed the tanginess of the dressing.

We had the lasagna (13.95) and the veal marsala (17.95)

The meat sauce was good. It was sweet and the lasagna was very good.

The Marsala had a light sauce. With veal over pasta.

Everything was a la cart. But you did get bread with oil/vinegar.

We had two glasses of Primetivo. The wine was good but it was WAAAAAAAAAY too warm. It wasn't that hot out today so I don't know where they stored it.

At the end of our meal the waiter asked us if we wanted dessert. We asked if he had a menu so we could make a decision. Busboy brought it about 2 minutes later.

The desserts looked good but we passed.

The food was great. Service was poor. That is good for a new restaurant, they only need to fix one thing.

We will be back to try it again. Hopefully with a different waiter.
