We made our reservation by phone and warned them that we were going to check in about midnight/1 am.(We drove from SF to Tahoe) But because of the road and the snow, we arrived at Lake Tahoe at 3 am. We were sure that we’ll have to find another place to stay… but for our surprise they were waiting for us.
3 Peaks is a very good place to stay, the room was very spacious with king bed, very clean linens and towels, living room with huge sofabed and fireplace. A small kitchen well equipped with new glasses and dishes.
Even the complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom were very good and replaced every day.
The only inconvenience was the fireplace that wasn’t work. After we call the reception they send a person to fix it more than three times and he couldn’t do anything, it was broken. They send us a heater and extra blankets for the night and offered to change the room, but we were already installed, so we refused. It didn’t matter for us.
We spent 4 nights and enjoyed very much the place and the location: just three blocks from Heavenly Gondola, Village and shops and restaurants. We only didn’t enjoy much walking around because it was snowing and very windy.
