“Very comfortable and affordable off season.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

We stayed here for two nights June 2-3, 2013. We had a large room with a very comfy king bed, two vanity areas, a small refrigerator and two easy chairs. The room was very clean, comfortable and a very convenient location to all of the casinos and to Edgewood Golf coarse. The cooked to order breakfast was very good, and our service couldn't have been any better.
We will definitely go again.
It is so easy to walk to so many other locations and to the lake.

Room Tip: Book this before mid June or until after school starts in the fall, and you get a great deal on the...

Stayed here with my boyfriend in September. The place was pretty dead and they weren't willing to let us check in early. It is definitely nice, but the room was SO small! The pool area is very pretty as well as the restaurant. I was lured in by the "free" breakfast, but it was a small portion and very limited. It, like many of the motels and hotels, is located near all of the main attractions. We stayed at a different hotel the night before and wished we stayed there since it was so much cheaper and similar quality.

I arrived at front desk to check in before the check in time at 2pm, did the paperwork with a very pleasant woman who told me the room would be ready by 3pm.

Arrived back to hotel at 4pm to be met with a different person who was a Spanish speaker, I couldn't understand her English, she muttered very quietly until she turned around to shout a stream of Spanish into a back room. You always wonder if someone is speaking about you when this happens in an English speaking Country ?
Eventually I understood that they were very busy and she didn't know when the room would be ready. We were finally given the room at 4.45pm.

The breakfast was a VERY welcome surprise, we were met and seated by Bonnie and had a full cooked breakfast which was the best breakfast in our month tour of America.

The location of this hotel is good. The hotel is older and I am never a big fan of hotels where the rooms open to outside walkways. Our rooms were 301 and 303, which meant that we were on the lower level, right next to the laundry facility. The room was clean, but smelled a bit musty. It looks like they have updated the rooms recently. The beds were comfortable and lots of pillows on the bed. The office, however, was dated and dark. There is a pool that the kids seemed to be enjoying. The beach is about 2 blocks away. Lake Tahoe is gorgeous but a little too cool for me to venture in very far. The on-site restaurant where guests can get a made-to-order breakfast was awesome. Be aware that the cancellation policy for this hotel is 24 hours before check in.

Room Tip: Room 301 was on the ground floor next to the laundry facility. Not the best location.

Our check-in experience was less than satisfactory. we were left standing at the counter without being acknowledged for the better part of 10 minutes. There was no bell to ring so we waited---this was at 2:30 in the afternoon. When reception finally showed up she was flippant and immediately pissed my husband off. Other than that our stay was very pleasant. The room was clean and very nice. The swimming pool was clean and warm with plenty of seating around it. It is a short walk to the lake beach and a pass and towels are provided. A lovely cooked to order breakfast was provided at the restaurant next door. It was delicious and the staff was very pleasant. This hotel gives you a good value for your money. Overall it was a lovely stay.

We have stayed at other locations in Tahoe but decided to take a chance since the rate was so good. We were not disappointed. The room was very quiet and nicely updated. The full wall mirror made the room seem huge. We were on a motorcycle and they were very accommodating to put us in a ground floor room with a view of the bike parked. Although this property is stating to be a non-smoking facility the office staff smoke on the premises and I had to walk through her smoke more than once going between our room and the lobby where the courtesy computer is located. Housekeeping likes to shout across the parking lot to each other. Once our room door and window were closed we were back in our quiet, clean haven. Would we stay there again? If we could get the same low rate, then yes.

Room Tip: Because the hotel is off the main drag there is no road noise. Room was well insulated for sound...
