When we first checked in we got a regular room on the second floor but the key card wouldn't open the door so my husband had to go all the way back to the lobby around the other side of the building and got new cards which still didn't work. So back around to the lobby and was given keys to a new room which ended up being the handicap accessible room. It was fine, the rooms are decent but you can tell they didn't really update the bathroom in the handicap room. It does have a jet tub though which is sweet if you're into that sort of thing.
Well, there must have been a family of elephants in the room above us because I was woken up multiple times in the night by them stomping and running and being generally loud. The second night someone's TV was SO loud we were woken up by it at 2 am and could actually hear exactly what they were watching. The hotel doesn't have security I guess so the front desk guy said he could come check and if he could hear it outside he could knock. Well, of course he couldn't hear anything and meanwhile we've been kept awake for an hour. Finally my husband called again and requested keys to another room so that we could at least sleep there and then come back to our room in the morning. So he goes and gets the keys to the new room and what happens? They don't work. Again! So we have to go back to the room at 3am and it's cold and I'm in my pajamas to call the front desk so he can meet us when his master keycard to let us in. This room was DEAD SILENT. The difference between the handicap accessible room and this one was night and day in terms of noise penetration. Slept like a log.
Overall the hotel itself in the regular rooms is nice from what I saw for the short time I was in a normal room but try to get an upstairs room to avoid the elephants. We appreciate that the staff was able to accommodate us and move us to another room so we could sleep but man they need to do something about the sound proofing in that handicap room. The location is good, can walk to casinos and shops and entertainment.
