“Wedding weekend/reception”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2014

We had our wedding reception at this hotel this past weekend and stayed at the hotel with plenty of others from our family. Hotel accommodations were great, and the complimentary breakfasts were good and very convenient. Rooms were clean, spacious and perfect for the occasion. Our hotel suite had a balcony and breathtaking views. We couldn't have asked for anything better, especially with half a dozen bridesmaids getting hair and makeup done in it. The hotel's wedding coordinator, Frankie, was absolutely amazing. She and the rest of the resort staff are totally patient, kind, and super accommodating. Our wedding reception planning was super painless because she had every single detail covered. The level of professionalism her and staff showed was tremendous. Chef cooked a meal that my guests said was the best they ever had, which made us super happy! Everything looked gorgeous in the room, and they set it up exactly the way I asked them to. Thanks to Frankie and the LTRH chef and staff my new husband and I will always remember this night as the best ever!

I had a last minute business meeting scheulded in Lake Tahoe last week and contacted a couple places and called Lake Tahoe Resort. I was offered a room with a great price. I was pleasantly surprised- the room was immaculate and the bed linens very nice and comfortable and even had a Keurig coffee machine- nice touch!. They even included a full breakfast buffet and free cocktail drink! I will definitely be coming back this year with the family for vacation!

We booked the night before to attend a last-minute Tahoe wedding. The room itself was what one would expect from a top Tahoe hotel - clean, comfortable, and spacious. Only valet parking is available in the hotel ($25 a day), and being a weekend, it took some time getting both into and out of the lot. There is a casino lot with free parking right next door. I was also surprised at the soundproofing in this top hotel. About 7:00 a.m. Sunday, I got to hear all about the travails of a miscreant husband (both sides of the story) for about an hour. Perhaps no soundproofing could have cancelled all the shouting, but it would have been nice to have it muffled a little more.

Nice and wonderful, newly renovated hotel in the center of everything. Our room is overlooking the Heavenly Ski Resort and Gondola. Although there's not much snow, the mountain still looks amazing with the sparkling like white cloud covering! The room is big and clean with small kitchenette and dining area. We had a complimentary breakfast and the kids had a free happy hour meal. The other side of the hotel, if we were lucky to have gotten a room there, was overlooking the wonderful scenery of the famous Lake Tahoe with the stunning mountain ranges around.

We decided at the last minute to spend the night in South Lake Tahoe, Sunday night this past Memorial Weekend. We were able to book a room the day before without a problem. We loved the location of being in the center of everything. Our room was very nice and clean, the front desk said it was one of the newly renovated rooms. The beds were not that comfortable, but that could be personal preference. Even with being on the third floor above the dining area we were not bothered by noise at all. The only drawback was that it was full of families with young kids, we couldn't even get near the hot tub or pool. They do include a complimentary cocktail and complimentary breakfast with the room, but again because of so many families the lines were extremely long and at breakfast they kept running out of things, including utensils and self serve items. The hot items, the chefs seemed to have a handle on and were pretty good.

I just returned from a few days of business and meetings at the beautiful and relaxing Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel. I've previously stayed in this hotel a number of times when it was owned and operated by Embassy Suites. Mere feet (inches?) from the border of California and Nevada, this hotel is less than a one minute walk to the entrance of Harrah's Casino. (FYI... I'm not a gambler but they have some great eateries and people watching opportunities.)
While at the LT Resort Hotel, we enjoyed a number of free "adult beverages" and snacks at the manager's reception each evening and great complimentary hot breakfasts each morning. The staff are and have aways been amazingly helpful. The bellman "Chas" is a great guy!!!! We ate at the Echo bar/restaurant 2-3 times. The food was very good and host was fun loving and very accommodating. The hotel rooms are VERY nice. Clean, well decorated and maintained. The huge open atrium style of the building has always been one of its most impressive features. The hotel offers numerous large and small common areas throughout the property, both inside and out. I absolutely love this property. It is very Chuck-est!!!
If you get the chance, book a stay at his location!!! You will love it.

Room Tip: There is not a bad room in the entire hotel. Every one that I've stayed in was excellent.

Stayed here one night with a tour group. Hotel was clean, comfortable and loved the open space feeling created by the atrium. Complimentary drink at manager's reception was good feature and cost of drinks very reasonable. Nice pizza in Echo restaurant and price very reasonable.

Room Tip: Don't miss your free drink at manager's reception
