Old pond cottage is a beautiful newly refurbished b&b. The stay was very comfortable and our room was a good size.
Sandy was a great host, greeting us with tea and home made cakes on arrival, delivering a fresh flask of milk to our door for the morning coffee in our room, cooking a delicious made to order breakfast and generally making us feel very welcome.
We visited as we were attending a wedding nearby at bartholomew barn. Old pond was a short cab ride away (£20 pre-booked).
I would highly recommend this place if you are attending a wedding or just looking for a relaxing break in a quaint country village.
