Description: Dear Guests welcome to the Fleet Twyning. We are a beautiful riverside pub on the edge of the river Avon. We pride ourselves on home cooked fresh food along with our traditional Wadworth Ales. We get extremely busy in the summer time as we are a very popular destination pub and wait time on food can vary from 10 minutes to 1 hour, so we ask you to be very patient with us as we cook all your food to order from fresh produce. In the winter it is advisable to book in advance as our tables get booked early on for weekends and early evenings.

“Just reopened after a fire and back on track”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

The fleet had been closed for some time. The food is good, needs a few more choices to be excellent. However the food when served was excellent and the service good. Some good guest beers

“Outstanding time and time again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

We wanted to book this venue for our wedding party after our marriage abroad but, unfortunately, on the weekend that we made the enquiry there had been a fire so they were unable to take any bookings as they didn't know when the restaurant would be up and running again after the repairs. However, whilst we were abroad getting married we received an e-mail to say they were re-opening. On our return, we called them on the Wednesday evening to see if they had availability for around 38 guests and they did. We went in to see Steve and Nathan that evening at around 9pm, sorted out the menus, decorations, etc in record time and that weekend (having only 3 days' notice) we had our wedding party there! Steve and Nathan and all the other staff were absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Our every whim was catered for. Our guests were astonished by the quality of the food (my Uncle being extremely difficult to please was very complimentary!). Service, food, venue - just perfect - we couldn't have asked for anything better and several of our guests who had never visited The Fleet before have returned since and have thanked us for showing them such a fantastic restaurant. We have visited several times since and went again last night for Valentine's Night. At certain times during the week they have a special menu which has plenty of choice for a fixed fee and is extremely good value. We just can't fault it......

“What an improvement”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

After a pretty awful lunch in the spring of 2012 we visited the Fleet today and found an almost 100% improvement. Great fresh food, piping hot at an incredible price, good service and a lovely log fire to sit beside. Well done the Fleet, your new chef is doing you proud.

“Off the beaten track-Worth the trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

The Fleet Inn has a chequered history & I have endured/enjoyed many of it’s reincarnations across some forty years. This time they have got it absolutely y spot on. Fabulous décor, eclectic menu and excellent friendly service. We had a modest light lunch on our way back from camping & were stuffed for the rest of the day. I had a double starter of bloody Mary Prawns with amazing “home cooked” fat chips & Pat had a fabulous cottage pie. Neither of us was able to finish the generous portions.
Good value, first class service & overall a fabulous experience.
The Fleet is a great spot just one mile from junction one of the M50 which is less than a mile from the M5. Access is off the slip road at junction 1 off the M50. Over the cattle grid & head straight for the river & The Fleet is right on the river bank. It really is a 10 minute detour on any M5/M50 journey.
Go on-Go for it- You will not regret it.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013 via mobile

We met up with friends the day after Boxing Day (we remembered to book) at The Fleet. We had heard so many great things about the place. We were a little concerned about the flooding given their location but thankfully all was ok - in fact made for quite the view!! Absolutely delicious food, fantastic menu with something for all. The staff were brilliant, very attentive and helpful. We'll definitely be back!! Keep up the great work!
