“Fine apartment with outstanding views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013 for a stay in October 2013

We [Wife, stepson and in laws] stayed last week of October. Was a great place to stay. Full stop. The views from the building were superb, and the outside setting was comfortable enough to sit for a good long while contemplating them ... with a glass of wine of course. Amenities of the property were top class, the normal items as expected, but the little extras were great, a good DVD library, the local attraction leaflets up to date, not the normal two year old maps, cupboards stocked on arrival with basics you could replenish before you left. Explicit printed instructions on how everything worked, rather than vague indications in a scribbled note, and the original instruction books available. Beach towels provided seperate to Bath towels.

There are a couple of things I would comment on in addition, the Owner was really communicative and showed her concern at us getting a great experience, but was not over bearing or condescension which is sometimes the case. I personally liked the decor, but some might say it is too modern. What would I say to improve? Really hard call. Some of the things are beyond the Owners control [getting into the parking space was a pain for example!], whilst to be honest, others [pillows and linens too light weight for me] are a very personal choice.

Overall thoroughly recommend it.

Thanks for your lovely comments and glad you all had a great time. Warmer duvets were available in the hall cupboards - sorry this wasn't made clearer. Hope you come again! Penny

“An exceptional apartment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013 for a stay in September 2013

I stayed here in September with my partner, my brother and another friend. The apartment is absolutely immaculate and has breathtaking views on the huge roof terrace.

The apartment has undergone a huge refurbishment this year and the interior is extremely luxurious, but with a homely feel. We met the owner, Penny and nothing was too much trouble. We flew to Perpignon airport and she kindly arranged a cab to take us to and from the apartment, which worked wonderfully and was a short trip.

The 3 bedrooms all open onto the terrace, each with its own view. The apartment is very quiet and would work well for a group of friends or for a family, as it is quite large enough for everyone to have some privacy.

A few tips for others. The nearest Supermarket called Casino is shut on Sunday afternoons and all day on Mondays. If you need to print a boarding pass, there is internet available at a small charge in the shop next to the Casino supermarket. (There is of course wi fi in the apartment). It was not possible to change sterling into Euros at the Bank in the town but there were several cash points.

The area is a French resort for the French, so do take a phrase book unless your French is fluent. The local people were charming and we had fun interpreting some of the menus and information. The beach bar directly opposite does lovely food and the staff are very welcoming but beware of the Sun Beds, which are 10 euros each per day. The third beach bar down was also very nice and we ate there several times. The beach bars close mid September and the local pizza place was shut when we arrived on 1st September.

The bus service is excellent and good to try. The crazy golf (directly opposite the apartment) was great and opens from 2 p.m. until quite late in high season. Try the boat trip to Collioure from the harbour. It was 22 euros return and extremely prompt. This is a very pretty fishing village and made a lovely day out. You must go on the littl train which goes up into the mountains and has an English commentary which was extremely interesting.

I would highly recommend this delightful apartment and its location for a totally relaxing holiday for people of all ages.

“Faboulous view, superbly fitted out.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We stayed at the apartment in late August 13 and highly recommend it. A superbly equipped apartment with great views with a gentle breeze running through the apartment. The terraces were excellent for sunbathing or getting shade as they are wraparound. St Cyprien centre is a 15 mins stroll along the beach while for those wanting the sea, you can't get much closer to a sandy beach! Top drawer apartment.

“Wonderful appartment with gorgeous views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We stayed here for a week in August. The apartment is absolutely charming and has the most amazing views across the sea and the mountains. It is located at the quieter end of St Cyprien and therefore was a peaceful haven after a day out exploring or at the beach. A mere 10-15 minute stroll gets you into the main town centre where there are shops, restaurants etc. The apartment is a 2 minute walk to the lovely beach .. but also well located to explore the region and go up into the mountains. The apartment itself is a fantastic place to stay - spacious, light and all the mod cons you could want. But what really sells this place is the wonderful, spacious terrace that wraps itself around the apartment. It is equipped with comfortable seating, dining area and a plunge pool and it provides sun or shade any time of day - depending on where you choose to sit! Along with the breath-taking views, this place is an absolute winner and I recommend it wholeheartedly - it surely is the best apartment holiday rental in St Cyprien.

“Great appartment with fantastic views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

Stayed at the end of June for 6 nights. The apartment was great, very well equipped and the map on the wall gave us dinner time conversation each night; the panoramic views were fantastic and the double sliding patio doors on each room were great for making the outdoors part of the indoor space. If only all apartments were this good!

“Vacation comments”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

Really comfortable and well appointed apartment, with a most wonderful outlook. The location suited us more than we expected.close to the sea, easy walking to nearby shops and restaurants simple driving to Perpignan and even into Spain to the lovely city of Girona. The whole of the St Cyprien area is extremely pleasant and has lots to do other than just laying in the sun. We will surely return
