The Smokehouse offers the choice of a restaurant, or fish and chips outside. We tried the restaurant first evening - it was first class, with lots of lovely fish dishes. Our shared starter and two mains were all delightful - really fresh and well cooked. I was just able to stack away a desert afterwards. On the second evening we took the informal option of fish and chips from the shop which again were excellent, the chips particularly good, we ate far too many. The village was really buzzing both nights we visited, with live bands playing outside the pub/brewery, so you could either buy your fish and chips and sit outside the pub with a beer or buy your beer and sit outside the chippy with your fish and chips, or go anywhere else you fancied.
