“Value for money”

The farm is located in the very picturesque village of Dorsington. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Breakfast is served with the freshest farm produce. We strolled along the farm and met several calves, horses, geese all of which were a delight to my two year old. Owners are friendly and helpful.

We said for one night whilst attending a meeting at Shakespear County Raceway. It's is in a lovely traditional Cotswold village. We stayed in one of the stable block rooms. Apart from all the usual things the room had a microwave, utensils, crockery and a little fridge with freezer in which was a jug of fresh milk. It your staying for longer these could be really usefull. We had a visit to the calves, got honked at by the geese and played with the cat.
Breakfast was just the thing to set you up for the day.
Church Farm reminded me of the B&B's I stayed in on childhood holidays homely and welcoming and we will certainly go back

I found church farm using the Internet as I dislike anodyne and bland characterless hotels to stay. They have their uses but not a first choice for a relaxing break. Church Farm in Dorsington fitted the bill exactly and I was pleased that there was a vacancy at short notice. The enquiry was dealt with efficiently and in a pleasant manner and further added to the confidence I had made a good choice. I made Marian (no pun intended) aware we would be arriving circa 8 p.m. (as this is later than usual) as a courtesy.
Dorsington is a lovely little village and the direction supplied with the booking were very good so no problems finding it. We were greeted soon after arrival, by Marian, given the key to the converted stable, and a quick run down of where to eat in the area as it was getting late.
The converted stable was compact but not small, inside was a comfy double bed, a microwave, fridge, tea and coffee making facilites, batch and shower, tv, spare 240v sockets and so on. There was also 2 forms of heating supplied, but not required thankfully, and a lovely heated towel rail.
The breakfast the next morning was great, a traditional English, well presented and cooked. Toast, cereal, and fruit juice was also there for the taking. The cups of tea were lovely too.
The surrounding area is fantastic, I have long been a fan of Warwick and especially Stratford upon Avon and this is an ideal base for exploring. The nights are so quiet and still, the cockerell announces it is morning but even that was seemingly subdues. The walk around the farm is worthwhile too and a nice touch.
We will stay there again for sure. You can be sure of a warm welcome. The other guests we spoke to also were very praiseworthy and one couple were returnees too.

Room Tip: I can only comment on our room in the converted stables. It was entirely adequate for a great stay...

At some point we will definitely be returning to Church Farm after spending one night there during the Easter Holidays.
The accommodation was very comfortable, very clean and lies among some glorious countryside. The breakfast was excellent, and hard to imagine that you could get a better one anywhere else.
Our friendly hosts also recommended an excellent pub, 'The Cottage Of Content' which is situated in the nearby village of Barton about a couple of miles away, and which I in turn would recommend to anybody.

We loved our stay at Church Farm and had the best time. I was torn between actually exploring the Cotswolds and simply spending time walking around the beautiful farm and saying hello to all of the animals (we were lucky enough to be there at the beginning of spring when the sheep were lambing). The room was comfortable and there was even a microwave and some plates so we could prepare our own dinner. Cooked breakfast was yummy. Steve and Marion are their sons are more than happy to tell you about the workings of the farm. A good location to explore the cotswolds.
