“Brilliant value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

Clean hotel, friendly staff and good value, minutes from centre of Manchester, what more could you want? Booked 3 rooms, one of them a family room, all near to each other on same floor. Nothing was too much trouble.Breakfast maybe a little pricey, but food was good

You always know what to expect with a Premier Inn. It is exactly what you need and want.
Clean room, clean bathroom, welcoming and friendly staff. As with many others, the only gripe would be the breakfast. £8.25 is a lot for a cooked breakfast and in times gone by it has been cooked to order. Now it is a self service buffet which looks a bit withered after being left out for a while. Certainly not what you would want from an £8.25 fry up. The location of this Premier Inn isn't the easiest to find but it is one of the better ones I have stayed in. Just a shame the room next to us decided to shout, swear and slam doors until 3am.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the end of a corridor, less people walking passed

Up to the usual high standards of Premier Inn, clean, freindly staff, good food and childrens play area, stayed 3 nights. Ten mins outside Manchester with all the Musuems and atrractions.
Only issue we have is the breakfasts, we prefer not to have cooked breakfasts & the Hotel offered a 'Lighter' continental style breakfast for £5.25, on the leaflet promoting breakfasts its says under 16's eat free, but was told when ordering the 'lighter' breakfast that my 9 year old daughter would be charged for her breakfast because we did'nt opt for the cooked breakfast at £8.25. As it happend we wern't charged for our child but Premier Inn needs to clarfy if KIDS EAT FREE at breakfast when their parents are trying to be healthy, or only eat free when their parents are having a massive fry up!
Other than that its a great place to stay, and the staff were excellent

Travelling with a toddler can sometimes be challenging & as it was our first night away since our son had slept in a bed, not a cot we were apprehensive. However the staff couldn't have done more. Had travel cot in the room in case he couldn't settle in the big bed & also had option of a lower bed if needed. Only little moan, which was no fault of the hotel, was a group that decided shouting down the corridor at 2am was acceptable but they soon went to bed! Ate at restaurant next door, Brewers Fayre for dinner which was great value for money and they have a soft play area for the kids. Breakfast again was served in the restaurant and was help yourself all you can eat, bit pricey but we got our money's worth! All in all a nice hotel and wouldn't hesitate in staying again if required.

Really nice and modern rooms, very clean and the staff were very friendly. The Brewers Fayre next door also has the friendliest staff...
If you don't get on with traffic noise ask for a room facing into the car park - I will next time! All in all the hotel felt very safe and kept to a high standard.

Room Tip: Room facing into the carpark will be quieter

This Premier Inn is obviously newly built and has been looked after. The room was clean and fresh with crisp white bedding. Suprisingly it was a peacefull nights sleep despite it being sat on the M60 / M67 junction.

Next door there is a pub but nothing else worth seeing or doing within walking distance.

I wouldnt hesitate in recommending this hotel to others for an overnight stay and I will use it again when I need to stay over in the Manchester area.
