“Great stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

Beautiful cabins, luxurious hot tubs/saunas, nice scenery, friendly and attentive staff; what more can I say? We stayed in one of the 3 bdrm cabins for 3 nights and had another group at another one just minutes away. Both cabins were very nice log cabins as seen on the website. Master bdrm upstairs has very nice en-suite with big whirlpool soaker tub that I wasn't even expecting. Everything you need in a kitchen, a perfect home away from home. We were having so much fun on the property we didn't even venture out and explore the area. We'll have to come back and do that the next time. Maybe even in the winter, it would be beautiful that time of year!

Room Tip: There are upwards of 100 cabins and as such some are further away from the recreation centre (with p...

Absolutely gorgeous, clean, prestigious, fantastic resort! Every "cabin" (more like $1 million dollar home) is secluded from the next, you can stay up late and not have anyone bother you. We thought the hot tub was dirty at first but then realized its the Northern water- much softer than back home so your skin feels smooth and silky after. Will definitely be going back!

Room Tip: ask for a house that has an enclosed hot tub. Then you aren't fighting with the mosquitos the w...

Cannot say enough about how amazing this place is. Our chalet was stunning, with hot tub (perfect after a long day's skiing!), sauna, pool table. It was spacious, clean, warm and more than comfortable. We had a wonderful time there and can't wait to go back.

What a wonderful getaway so close to Montreal and Ottawa! We stayed in a 4 bedroom deer chalet over Easter weekend and had a fabulous time. The reception staff were amazing; friendly, efficient and very helpful. One day, we stopped by the front desk to request a a couple of things and before we could make the 5 minute walk back to our chalet, the service fellow had already arrived at our place and taken care of everything.
The chalet was clean and beautiful and had all the amenities you would need. The beds and couches were very comfortable and we could easily fit 8 people. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful and the pool table was definitely a bonus. A trip into Saint Sauveur is a must and be sure to stop in at the bakery where the croissants are AWESOME!!
We had such a wonderful weekend, we are already planning to go back. A great place to get together with friends, family, or just if you want to rest and relax.

We just got back from a 3 night stay at Fiddler Lake Resort in the bear model 3 bedroom chalet 19. We had another amazing family vacation. Used a special promotion offered by Living Social, a great deal for such a luxurious chalet.

Chalet was clean, warm and ready upon our arrival at 5PM. It has 3 large bedrooms and another room with a sofa bed that is used as a TV room. Open concept living/dining/kitchen area. Well decorated. Big stone fireplace. A box of eco-friendly logs is $13 at the main lodge. That is the only type of wood you are allowed to burn. Kitchen was well equipped except that the frying pans are very old and need to be replaced in this chalet. Bring your own to do the cooking! The casserole set is good though. There is a dishwasher and dishwasher detergent supplied. We did not use it as we wash our dishes by hand the old fashion way. Bring saran wrap, foil paper and the like. There was paper towels there when we arrived but bring some just in case. Bring dish soap as well and laundry detergent if you plan on doing laundry because there is none. They provide small shampoo bottles and soap bars, towels, bed linens. We all slept well, the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were nice and spacious with showers and one had a large jacuzzi tub. The hot tub was hot and ready to use and we used it every day. It is nicely setup sheltered in an unheated extension to the chalet accessible from the dining room.

The chalet is situated close to the main lodge which is great because the kids would walk there a few times each day to use the free facilities (indoor pool and games room with foosball table, pool table, air hockey table, playstation, wii, xbox, etc). The skating rink was a lake with the warm temperatures so was not usable. It is closed an not maintained anymore at this time of year. The fire pit was also a fun place to hang out.

Fiddler Lake Resort has good security as it is gated with camera security system 24 hours. Everyone I dealt with at the reception were very nice and professional. We did not encounter any problems this stay. Location of this resort is 15 minutes away from Saint-Sauveur, a cute little town with a lot of charm and some great eateries. Some small outlet shopping as well called the Factories. A ski hill, golf, sugar shack, horseback riding, tubing, spas, dog sledding, lots to do all year-round.

We all enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again and continue to recommend it to our friends and family!

Great chalet. Great service! Everything is worth the cost. We really enjoyed the family room with pool table and giant screen. We were 6 adults and 7 kids. We did ski, spa, snowmen, hockey, snow shoes, and all around fun.

The folks at fiddler lake were prompt to answer any questions and facilitate our stay. We got there and the spa was ready, the chalet was perfectly furnished.

Its been our 3

Got away for the weekend and it was a beautiful place. We rented the five bedroom chalet and had plenty of room. The hot tub and sauna were great. The pool table in the chalet was a bonus. Definitely will be going back. My family had a very special time together. A memorial moment for my sister's 50th birthday. Everyone had a great time. The big fireplaces in the chalet were beautiful and it was great that we could purchase logs right at the reception area. A special thank you to Kerry and the rest of the staff. I would definitely recommend Fiddler Lake Resort for any get away occaison. Told all my friends.
