This is our go-to brekky place. The wait isn't too long if you get there before 10am which is the norm for Sydney cafes.
We've never had a bad coffee here. Tried the AA Indian blend this morning with a smoky chocolate flavour on the finish. Perfect.
The organic poached eggs on sourdough are always a winner although now that I've cut out bread I asked for scrambled eggs, only to be told they only make poached eggs. Why oh why Double Roasters? There's no way you can eat poached eggs without bread to sweep up the runny yolk. So I resorted for the fruit and yogurt bowl which was simple and nice but didn't quite hit the spot since I was looking forward to eggs.
Hopefully they'll update their menu. Still going back for their fantastic coffee :)
