Their new look is more sophisticated and luxurious, especially in the restaurant, which has added banquette seating in purple velvet, a lounge bar area with relaxing sofas and chairs and tall chairs along the bar, with copper velvet cushions to add to the feeling of warmth and comfort. Also, a large copper topped table sits at the front with tall chairs, for larger, more social occasions.
The menu now consists of an array of modern European dishes, including oven baked camembert with crusty bread and onion marmalade, calamari with sweet chilli sauce, tapas of meat, cheese and vegetables with several types of home-baked bread. For the main course, try the fish and hand-cut chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce, a pizza from our wood-fired oven, rack of lamb or perhaps a visit to the chef to select the size of rib of beef you would like, cooked to your specification!
