“Graet weekend break”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

Just returned from this Haven park after a weekend away with our 4 year old grandson and I have to say we had a great time, from the moment we arrived until check out we had a great time. On arrival check in was quick and a friendly approach by the reception staff was to set the bench mark for the weekend. Although this is one of the smaller parks in the Haven portfolio it was very well presented. Went to the caravan which was a 2 minute walk from reception and were impressed with the cleanliness and the facilities within a very spacious caravan. The park has a small swimming pool but perfectly adequate with different activities planned throughout the day as well as just open swimming. The outdoor spaces are spotlessly clean and the outdoor cleaning staff take great care to make sure its kept clean. The kids team, the Funstars are amazing they have different activities throughout the day and early evening planned to keep all the younger ones occupied in the Showbar until about nine at night when the kiddies are well and truely worn out to get ready for another day. The character team of Rory Greedy Bradley Ned Polly and Anxious are really fun. The terrace bar provides a good choice of freshly cooked food with polite and always smiling staff. I have to say the customer service was top notch. Thanks to all at Seton sands and Haven.

Stayed at this place with my 3 children. This place really has a lot of things to offer, all day and night. The staff treated my children with enthusiasm, I really appreciated that. We had lots of pictures of us on our prestige caravan. They really serve great remembrance. The staff were great, however, I noticed some bad things though like dirty eating utensils and the floor doesn't look that clean. But, we still had a great time on our break.

We stayed in a prestige caravan for 4 nights in april..the caravan was perfect..has everything you need, is very comfortable, warm and we were situated right by park and beach and also across rd from amenities but I must say its the poorest haven I have been too in regards of space and eating facilities..the pool is tiny with no excitement, the lounge/restaurant is not huge and to me does not smell paticilarly great but nor does the entertaiment room which is small too...best room there was the amusement room but how can that be any different to any others there all the same..kids play area is fab very well maintained... my son loved it...launderette prices are riduculous, cost us £7.50 to wash and dry one small load and then it wasnt completely dry... there is a coop not far which has excellent offers and is reasonable priced...a bus stops every 10 mins out the front which offers a day rider for £3.50 per adult kids under 5yrs free and it goes to edinburgh and also the zoo which is great as this park is in middle of knowhere if u dont have a car...good job scotland is a very picturesque place to visit otherwise you would be very bored on this park...

Had a lovely week away for my daughters birthday. The park is perfect distance from amenities and close to Edinburgh which meant we were able to enjoy a day at the zoo. The park itself was beautifully kept and the staff are very helpful. Can't really fault it in anyway =)

Stayed Monday-Fri 1st to 5th April, lovely caravan site, my daughter aged 4 absolutely loved this holiday. There is a great play park on site, the entertainment was great for kids and adults, my daughter loved Anxious the Elephant and we will be back for another break at Seton Sands.

Had been expecting a lot more from Haven, especially for the Easter weekend! Lovely caravans, but let down by poor housekeeping. (Ours was cleaner when we left than when we arrived!) Went for a wee look around the site when we arrived and had spotted dirty linen under a couple of caravans that was obviously left for collecting by whoever-that dirty linen was still there the day we were leaving! Think that says a lot about standards. Not enough on site to keep families busy despite the amount of accommodation on site - and we were only there for the weekend! One play park, a puddle (only way to describe the tiny pool), an arcade and the bar/club. There were the activities that could be booked ie. archery etc but not really suitable for 5/6 year olds like our son. He had a great time on the carts that could be hired, but at £10.00 an hour not something that you could afford to keep him entertained for the duration. The site is in the middle of nowhere so you couldn't even go for a wee walk to the surrounding town/village or what have you. Think they should maybe be thinking about re-advertising this site as more suitable for couples and older folks looking to get away from it all (oh and of course those who don't mind doing a bit of cleaning on arrival!!).

Stayed the week after Easter mon-fri. Was during the cold spell so no beach time! The staff were great with the kids during the sessions. Caravan was clean and spacious. The amenities were clean and all too a good standard. Food on site was ok nothing to write home about but fine for the price. Would I stay again? Yes it was what you would expect for the price and everything was in good order.
