“Calming Calma”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

Ate here twice whilst staying at the studios (see my other review of the accommodation) - a lovely place to while away a couple of hours whilst enjoying an excellent meal. The kleftico was superb as, so my wife told me, was the pork chop. We always started with a Greek salad between us - and these were lovely as well. Good value and very good house wine. Recommended!

“nominal”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2012

reviewed this last year and because of the other reviews really thought we were perhaps missing something so tried again this year. Fist thing i noticed was there was nothing really on the starters i fancied. Eventualy because we were not all that hungry we chose some olives and a humous. The olives were sour (we are ferocous olive eaters) but not these. The houmus was a strange yellow colour, on tasting i would have said it had no tahini (sesami seed past) and i think at sometime it had been threatend with a clove of garlic. There is no fish on the menue (once a week as special i think) so we chose pork chops. Well cooked but bland accompaniments, rice shreded salad. Last year i did have some sort of greek dish (i like greek dishes) in a clay pot but the potatoes were not cooked enough, but perhaps i should have had stephado or something with some flavour this year.
It is a nice setting, clean and i am sure appeals to people who want plain. I wanted to be proved wrong so went back a secound time but having sat down and looked at the menue my wife said there is nothing i really fancy lets go.
sorry

“Nice food, reasonable prices, would recommend”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2012

We visited here for a meal on a night and for breakfast, as Maria's food came recommended.
We weren't disappointed!
The evening meal was tasty and good portion sizes - it was also very reasonably priced! (we had the stifado and the swordfish!)
Breakfasts were delicious as well - no grease in sight and again good portion sizes.
It wasn't our best meal in the two weeks but it was above average. Maria is friendly (the cook) but her husband is quite quiet which can come across as unfriendly but he was okay.
Definitely worth a visit! Maria also has a cook book which people were buying as well but there was no hard sell at all.
