Cadbury Cottage (Prue and Chis) provided a memorable experience in historical small village.Their 17th century home was a home away from home for us. Cadbury castle was nearby (200 yrds). Magnificent view across Sommerset.

I never usually write these, but we had such a lovely stay at Cadbury Cottage, I wanted to recommend. We stayed after a wedding at the beginning of June. Chris and Prue are very friendly and really made us feel welcome. Lovely people. The room was absolutely spotless and the bed very comfortable. Super shower and bathroom too, the whole place is in immaculate condition and the TV actually works easily (not like at most B&B's)!! I just wish my own house was as nice! We had a delicious full English breakfast the following morning. The house is in the most beautiful setting, with lovely gardens in a very quiet village which has a good pub. I can't recommend this B&B highly enough, it really was fantastic and we would definitely stay again. Chris and Prue were so kind and we really enjoyed meeting them and staying in their lovely house. Perfect.

Room Tip: There are 2 rooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 singles. We stayed in the room with the sin...

Lovely superb maintained cottage.
Landlady & Landlord are as friendly and helpfull as one ever can be. This kind of hospitality is rarely found nowadays. Private carpark.
Reception at arrival with thee, scones and home-made marmelade.

Room Tip: Both rooms are well equiped. Double bed was rather small for a 6ft.5" person.

Idyllic! Tucked away in a quiet country lane just below Cadbury Castle, this lovely 17th century stone cottage has two pretty beamed bedrooms overlooking the walled gardens. Our bathroom was immaculate - big fluffy towels and a really good shower as well as a bath. Breakfasts were delicious - bowls of nectarines and little wild strawberries when we were there in August - and the village inn, serving good pub food, was just a few minutes walk away.
But what made this such a special place to stay were the owners. Prue and Chris were relaxed, charming and helpful and gave us the warmest of welcomes! There were thoughtful touches everywhere - simply delightful!

Chris and Prue provided an excellent service - they were welcoming and informative. Tea was provided on our arrival. The room, though small, was spotless and very cosy with a view of the cottage garden. The breakfast of local produce was freshly cooked and delicious. Cadbury Cottage is a short 15 minute walk from an ancient hill fort which has some inspirational views of the countryside; boots are recommended!
