We were booked into this little B&B as part of a 2 day trip to Isabela island. We were quite surprised as it looked like one of the newest and nicest places around. The place is practically on the beach and you can constantly hear the sea lapping the sea shore which is perfect for a relaxing night. Our room had a great view of the ocean. It is also near the centre where all the restaurants are. Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are basic, but that it what you pay for. Being this close to the beach and in such a beautiful setting is like being in another world. The staff were lovely, and very helpful and were always willing to answer your questions. The bathroom was kept clean and had good hot water

Driving up to La Casita de la Playa, with the ocean on your left and the property on your right was a beautiful sight to see after a long boat ride from Santa Cruz. The rooms weren't luxury, but were great for a couple days, and they had hot water, which was fantastic. And of course, you can't say enough about the location, with 24 hour beach access. Definitely a great place to stay on Isabela, and I would definitely return when back in the Galápagos.

It's wonderful to be steps from the ocean and to go to sleep to the sound of the waves. The rooms are indeed pretty basic, but they were clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and a generous breakfast is provided at the restaurant around the corner. This is not a luxury hotel by any stretch but if you are lucky enough to get to Puerto Villamil, it is a perfectly fine place to stay.

This was a true "find" - as choice of places to stay on Isabela are limited. I did my research and in the end we were very happy with this property. It is considered a "hostel" because there are no amenities - just a spotlessly clean room, bed, bathroom and beautiful property grounds perfectly located. Breakfast was included with our room in a cute little "restaurant" around the corner - seriously the best eggs i've ever had in my life. Although I had a friend on the island who tried to book the room for me with cash, she was not able to as they apparently don't deal with the reservations onsite - and I had to book directly through "Galacruises" who owns the property? Perfect place for us.

Room Tip: We stayed in what seemed to be the only room with a private balcony right on the beach. True king be...

The charming people that runs this personal hotel are always at your service and very helpful in the best of ways (not in your face). I stayed here for three months during my work as a volunteer on Isabela island. I couldn't have had a better place to call home. The garden is beautiful and I spend some hours in their hammocks reading or just viewing the amazing sunsets over the beach night after night. I also enjoyed being so close to the beach...you fall a sleep hearing the waves, walking from your room wearing only a bikini is no problem and pelicans and other birds fly over the palm trees every day.

I highly recommend staying here if you visit Isabela. This place is clean, has excellent laundry service and they are always service minded, helps you with any matter (big or small).

I would go back and stay here again, but book in advance if you plan to come in July or August. I heard several people being turned away due to the fact that this place was fully booked.

Room Tip: Located right on the beach in the centre of town (but still quiet) - walking distance to all the res...
