“Great location, food OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2012

This centre has superb views over the Cley Marshes. The food is OK and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, the soups are a bit cliched - parsnip and carrot are great flavours so why on earth mask them by adding curry! The service is good.

“Fantastic views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2012

The visitor centre is high up, looking north across the marshes to the North Sea. (There is a lift up to the cafe and shop for those who are less able.) It's a nice place to sit and have coffee and a light lunch (jacket potatoes, soups, quiche, sarnies etc), with large windows looking north over the marshes to the sea. Take your binoculars, or use the telescope in the centre that's there for visitors. There’s lots to look at on the reserve and beyond, including windfarm construction out at sea.

“Lovely home cooked food and great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2011

Just came across the centre by chance but were so glad we did. We had a gorgeous lunch looking out across the wetlands and were shown by a volunteer what was out there that day. Lovely friendly atmosphere. If you are fit take a walk out to see the seals they are amazing! Park in the beach car park and it will take about an hour and a half each way.
