“Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012

We always come here at least once per month, the food is divine, typical catalan food. I always have the longaniza with mongetes. The wine is fantastic and we always try different types. The owner is really hands on and we are always met and made to feel like family, never rushed through our meal but almost encouraged to stay and enjoy the beautiful settings. On a late summers night sitting outside, up in the mountains, having a meal in the square courtyard the sky becomes your entertainment. The starry view is amazing.
Really worth the visit and evening meal, more than a bocadillo for breakfast!
See you again soon Carlos.

“A family run restaurant with hearty fare.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2012

We travelled to La Cuina from Mas Mariassa where we lived. It's a simple but very good restaurant in a very pictoresque setting - in a small square right next to an old church. We had salads, local canellonis , grilled lamb and grilled entrecote. Everything was great and promptly served , with a huge friendly smile. I highly recommend it :)))

“Excellent cooking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2012

We got the recommendation to go to La Cuina d`en Carlos, from the reception of the Belmont Golf Club. We ordered the lamb`s shoulders one day in advance, so we have got, what we wanted in the best quality. Also local starters were extremely good and fresh.
Following the recommendation, we took exceptional wine Laurona from Monsant. Unbelievable soft and smooth. The service was also great and we keep the best memory from this place.

“Wonderful; perfect food, service and location.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2011

We ate here twice during our visit to the area. The restaurant is run by two brothers who produce perfect food and the friendliest service possible. The location is beautiful, next to a church in the woods in the mountains about 3 miles from Pratdip.
Excellent local wines compliment the food. Rafael provides friendly, professional first class service in the restaurant where you feel truly welcome. His brother, Carlos, is chef of the highest quality. Everything is fresh, full of flavour and cooked to perfection.
This restaurant is a shining beacon of quality near a tiny picturesque hamlet. If you are in the area, go for lunch because you will love it.
Absolutely perfect.
