“A trip to an original Cayman treat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

This small spot serves some wonderful, authentic food in a rustic backyard setting with a simply amazing view. The simple fare is complemented with sodas and homemade fruit juices. I like to go during the later afternoon after the lunch crowd has subsided and before it gets too dark to enjoy the view. Last time we had a fine choice of the fried and curried chicken and a very savory ox tail. Fish with fritters is a bit of a wait, but worth it. Expect to be treated in a quiet homey fashion to real food.

“Disappointed.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I had a late lunch at Vivine's yesterday. We both got the fish and chips. The fish was dry and tasteless (it was grouper), the fries were good and the slaw was tasty. The service was very good. We paid $25 for two orders of fish and chips with a soda and lemonade. I would not return, if given the opportunity.

“backyard dining”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

You order your food at a window... no one was available for quite some time... there is no waitress service and we did not realize this... The food was adequate. Good for a taste of the local flavour

“Wonderful meal and view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

We finally found this restaurant on our second trip to Rum Point. The sign is small and hand painted on one side only. You would not know that this is a restaurant to drive by.

After we found it, we ordered our meal. I had stewed turtle (first time I ate turtle) and my wife had chicken. When we got our meal (after looking out over the beautiful ocean, we could not believe the amount of food we had. We had our mains (turtle) is very good, rice and bean. potato salad, plantins and another veggie like turnips. To say we were stuffed, we were supposed to go for prime rib that evening, but decided that we ate too much at lunch. Also the lemonade is very good. Total bill including tip was under $50. US

If you find it, this is great
