My wife and I have dined at some of the best restaurants in the US, (e.g. French Laundry, Daniel, Le Bernardin, Saison), as well as many Michelin starred European restaurants and this meal blew us away. We had the 8 course tasting menu on a late August 2013 night, and the food was inventively spectacular--a hedonistic roller coaster of taste and smells perfectly matched with unusually good South African wines from the tasting flight. We were told by locals that this was the culinary hot spot in Capetown and believe that is an understatement--a culinary hotspot of the continent perhaps.
